| The Manor House is the main house
of Harthill Hall, constructed in the16th century and little changed since. The
house is rendolent with history, with stone flagged floors, oak beams, walls
containing plasterwork images of previous owners, ancient carved oak doors,
etc. The house has been sensitively restored and adapted to modern living, with all modern conveniences. On the ground floor there are two sitting rooms both with open fires (one with a double sofa bed), and office with PC and internet access, a kitchen/dining room also with open fire , a double bedroom, a shower room, an inner walled courtyard with 4-person hot tub and outdoor sofa's, through to lawn and 10 foot enclosed trampoline and summer house with small billiards table, table tennis table LCD TV and Wii games console. On the first floor there are 3 four-poster double bedrooms all ensuite one with a free standing sottini Rain Bath, plus a queen size that can be split into a twin on request with it's own large family bathroom. There is also a suite spread over two floors, with sitting room downstairs (with a single day bed), bathroom next door to it and double bedroom upstairs. In addition to the bedrooms mentioned above, there are four childrens' beds. See the facilities page for details of the facilities which are common to all cottages. We accept dogs.
